She told me its a scam cause there's a
salt mine in the Congo
that's saturating the market

So I got her a box of almonds from that
place on Easton Ave where they got
samples on a gold plate
think I ate too much I got some side eye

But these things take a long, long time
you find someone who counts that high
been keeping time on a microwave
the power went out it reset again

I hope someday you find what you've been

I won't end up like her parents did
with a big new house and nothing to fill it with

but with no real plans
